Wait Times
While our goal is to keep wait times to a minimum, please understand your wait will depend on the urgency of your emergency, the number of other patients waiting to be seen and the availability of our health care providers.
To provide you with the best care, our providers recognize the importance of transferring you or your loved ones to a specialist at another facility, if deemed necessary, to provide continued care.
If you are experiencing a non-life-threatening emergency, the
Mountain Family Care Center, our urgent care clinic, is located on the campus of Ashe Memorial Hospital. Examples of non-life threatening emergencies include: simple laceration repair, earaches, colds, flu and cough, among others.
