Insurance Information

Medical care can be expensive. At Ashe Memorial Hospital, we work diligently to keep costs down, and to make planning for and paying for your medical care as efficient as possible.

Ashe Memorial Hospital accepts most major insurance plans, including:

There may be some restrictions on participation by our facility. Please make sure to verify with your insurance company to make sure that we participate in your plan. If you come to the hospital as a patient, we will collect insurance information from you shortly after your arrival. Whenever possible, please have with you a photo ID and your insurance card, or the insurance card covering your child if your child is the patient.

Billing

Ashe Memorial Hospital will file a claim with your insurer for costs incurred during your hospital stay. Once your insurer receives and pays the claim, you will be notified of any outstanding balance. This balance becomes your responsibility.
