Mountain Hearts Wellness Center

Mountain Hearts Wellness Center, on the campus of Ashe Memorial Hospital, is a full-size, 24/7 hour accessible gym with a variety of cardio and weight lifting equipment, as well as a heated indoor pool and jacuzzi tub, that is open to the public. Individuals of the community are welcome to use our facility for a daily fee or individuals can become a member with a monthly membership. You can also come try out the facility as a prospective member, we offer 7 free visits within a month!

The Wellness Center is open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, and 1-5 p.m., Sunday.



We offer a variety of aquatic and gym classes, rotating swim lessons, as well as yoga and tai-chi. Personal training and work out designs are also offered for active members. In addition, families can rent the pool for private pool parties for two hours at a time. The cost for pool parties is $125.

Spin bike classes will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays, beginning October 2. Classes are $5 for members and $10 for non-members. Classes are limited to six people, so make sure to sign up in advance.

Membership

Mountain Hearts Wellness Center offers memberships for single adults, adults plus one and families. Gym, aquatics and full memberships are available. Rates range from $45 to $100 depending on the type of membership. A single entry fee for those 13 and older is $20 per person. Guest passes also are available for $10.00 per person per visit. Children 12 and under are $5.00 per person per visit.

Mountain Hearts Wellness Center works with health insurance programs such as Silver Sneakers, Silver & Fit, and ReNew Active. Contact your health insurance to see if you qualify for a free membership. We offer a student discount and employees who work for Ashe County, Ashe County Schools, and Ashe Memorial Hospital can qualify for a discount as well.
