Want to Volunteer?
Volunteering at Ashe Memorial Hospital is a great way to serve your community while gaining work skills and making friends. Our hospital offers volunteer opportunities both working directly with patients and in other parts of the hospital. From greeting patients and families as they arrive to helping people find the resources they need during their visit, volunteers play a very important role in our hospital.
Volunteers age 18 and over help out year-round, while Volunteens, ages 14-18, volunteer June through August either for personal experience or to complete volunteer hours required for school.
In addition to personal satisfaction and knowing that you are helping your community, volunteers also receive benefits including free lunch while volunteering and reduced price membership at
Mountain Hearts Wellness Center.
The first step to becoming a volunteer is
completing an application and returning it to the AMH Foundation by:
Emailing it to the AMH Foundation at
foundation@ashememorial.orgBringing it to the hospital in person
