Biography:

Dr. Douglas R. Turgeon is a dual board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and sports medicine physician with more than 35 years of experience in general orthopaedic surgery, including sports medicine, total joint replacement and adult reconstruction. Dr. Turgeon earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, La., in 1985. He completed a flexible internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, the same clinic where he was born, in 1990.
